About

The Florida PEDReadyED: Enhancing Pediatric Readiness and Safety in Florida Emergency Departments (EDs), also known as the Florida PEDReadyED Lifeline Program, will expand the capabilities of the established Florida EMS for Children (EMSC) State Partnership Program, administered by the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. The goal of the Florida PEDReadyED Lifeline Program is to enhance pediatric emergency readiness and safety in Florida EDs with a focus on rural communities. The project will be completed in collaboration with hospitals, EDs, emergency medical services (EMS) agencies, state stakeholder organizations, and families to improve the outcomes of ill and injured children.

Florida Lifeline Pediatric Readiness Recognition Program

Develop and implement a model voluntary pediatric readiness recognition program for rural EDs using a Communities of Practice stakeholder model

Florida Pediatric, Trauma, and Maternal Services Dashboard

Develop a free access state dashboard of Florida EDs and hospitals with burn, trauma, neonatal, maternal, and pediatric capabilities along with other key variables and information in a geospatial platform
