The PPRP Assessment evaluates an EMS or fire-rescue agency’s ability to provide high-quality care for children based on national recommendations on prehospital pediatric emergency care. Every five years, the voluntary assessment is administered by the EMSC Data Center (EDC) along with updated guidelines. The assessment is based on the 2020 joint policy statement and technical report, “Pediatric Readiness in Emergency Medical Services Systems.”
The PPRP Assessment will soon be available to take at any time for quality improvement purposes.
