The NPRP Toolkit includes seven domains: 1) administration and coordination; 2) care team competencies; 3) quality and process improvement; 4) policies, procedures, and protocols; 5) support services; 6) pediatric patient and medication safety; and 7) equipment, supplies, and medications. The NPRP Toolkit is a free and open-access resource. The toolkit is intended to assist pediatric emergency care providers in better understanding and achieving pediatric readiness in their ED. The tools and resources available align with the 2026 joint policy statement “Pediatric Readiness in the Emergency Department” and assist pediatric emergency care providers in better understanding and achieving pediatric readiness in their EDs.
